Senior Director of Gift Planning

Sherie Veramay is currently the senior director of gift planning for Alma College in Alma, Mich., where she works with alumni, parents, and friends of the institution to establish bequests and other deferred gifts to support students and the academic experience. She has over 24 years of experience in higher education fund development. She attended Hope College in Holland, Mich. where she majored in art history; she also holds a master’s degree in counselor education from the University of Alabama and is a licensed professional counselor. She previously served on the Stulberg International String Competition board in several roles, including secretary and vice president for public relations and marketing, from 2004 to 2010; she also served as a board member from August 2015 to January 2017. Sherie lives in Lansing, Mich.
