Alisa Carrel is Director of Development with the Gilmore Keyboard Festival. She previously served as Executive Director of the Stulberg. Alisa lived in the Washington, DC area for 20 years and worked for Ovation, the Folger Shakespeare Library, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, Library of Congress, and the City of Alexandria, Virginia, where she was director of the Arts Council. She served on the boards of the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, Alexandria Commission for the Arts, Alexandria Arts Forum, Alexandria Performing Arts, and the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic. She is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and earned a B.A. (piano) from the University of Texas and Master of Arts Administration from Florida State University. She previously served on the boards of Fontana and Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League. In addition to the Stulberg, Alisa is on the board of the Kalamazoo Foundation for Excellence and is a member of the Kalamazoo Rotary and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
