Jayden King is an eleven-year-old violinist who began his musical journey at the age of three and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent. At seven, he was accepted into the Juilliard Pre-College Division, where he studies with renowned violin pedagogue Professor Masao Kawasaki.
Jayden has appeared as a soloist at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and Lincoln Center. He has earned top honors in numerous national and international competitions, most recently winning the Juilliard Pre-College All Ages Concerto Competition. A 2025–2026 From the Top Fellow, Jayden’s 2025 achievements include First Prize at the Verão Clássico Festival & Academy, selection as a Student Artist at the Juilliard Starling-DeLay Symposium, and Third Prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition.
In 2024, Jayden received First and Grand Prizes at the International Grande Music Competition, Adelphi Orchestra Young Artist Competition, Bravura Philharmonic Young Artists Concerto Competition, and the New York Laureate International Music
Competition. He was a semifinalist at the Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition. Earlier honors include First Prizes at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, Hill International Concerto Competition, and VIVO International Music
Competition. He is the youngest-ever Grand Prize winner of the Camerata Artists International Competition.
Jayden made his orchestral solo debut at age six and has since performed with the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata New Jersey Orchestra, Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra San Antonio. In 2025, he toured multiple cities in Italy with Orchestra dell’Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni and performed with the Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra under Daniele Rustioni at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
Beyond music, Jayden enjoys math, science, reading, tennis, swimming, chess, and video games.
